Anneleen Lenaerts performs Reinhold Glière’s Harp Concerto in E-flat major, Op. 74 this August, touring across Austria and Germany with the Angelika Prokopp Sommerakademie der Wiener Philharmoniker under conductor Martin Rajna.
The tour includes concerts at the Kongress Palais Kassel on 12 August and the Konzerthaus Berlin on 14 August. Anneleen then performs at Schloss Esterházy in Eisenstadt on 16 August, before concluding the tour at the Mozarteum in Salzburg on 19 August.
Composed in 1938, Glière’s Harp Concerto remains a cornerstone of the harp repertoire. Anneleen has performed and recorded the work extensively, including on her acclaimed Warner Classics recording, and continues to be one of its leading interpreters on the international stage.
